Cute style! Could be really fun with some goals or a surrounding world, and maybe some different food types and unique body parts. For now I don't know much more to do than place a few creatures and press play. It is really impressive for a gamejam game though.
I think I got an infinite loop by placing 3 heads (far apart) and then adding a body part to each head. Without pressing the new creature button. The whole game/browser tab froze. I even had to disable the browser cache to get the game to load again, I think the savefile got corrupted or something.
Thanks a bunch for playing! ๐
I 100% agree that the game lacks a lot of things to do right now and I will definitely work on more body parts that will differently affect how the creature behaves. I was also thinking of a small achievement system to encourage players to try out different things ๐
I am very sorry about the inconvenience caused by that bug, and I think I know what's causing the infinite loop and I'll get to fixing it. About the browser cache though, there aren't any save files so I'm really not sure what's going on there but I will look into it ๐
No need to apologize, I'm also a game programmer so I have a lot of understanding for games with bugs ^^
The launch bug might just be a Godot thing. Maybe it's possible for the game bundle to become corrupted when the tab gets force quit.
